I began "Making Memories Photography" in 2007, mainly photographing weddings. Over time we found that when we would arrive at a wedding people would say, “oh, the Kirby Photographers are here!” So it seemed like a natural transition to change our name to "Kirby Photography". After our first niece my love for family portraiture blossomed into a studio business. Our families participated in many hours of special sessions so auntie could experiment. Thankfully my husband and I have many nieces and nephews. My husband and I also own an operate another local business.
When we decided to start a family we agreed that weddings were no longer going to be a part of our business plan. We now focus on the art of family portraiture. Our main focus is on telling the unique story of your family.
The past four years of Kirby Photography has been a fun journey. We have been blessed to be a part of so many families milestones and special moments.
